The first thing I would suggest is to decide how many days you have, how much everyone can spend, and whether your group prefers adventure, sightseeing, nightlife, or simply spending time together.

A Manali college trip is a popular choice for students who enjoy mountain views, cafés, scenic drives, and outdoor activities. It works well for groups travelling from Delhi and nearby cities, especially when planned with enough time for the journey.

A Goa college trip is worth considering if your group prefers beaches, water sports, local food, and nightlife. Travelling outside peak holiday dates may help you manage accommodation costs, although prices depend on availability and season.

For students interested in river activities and camping, a Rishikesh college trip can combine riverside stays, local sightseeing, and adventure experiences. Always choose reputable activity operators and check safety arrangements before booking.

A Jaipur college trip offers forts, colourful markets, local cuisine, and plenty of opportunities for group photographs. It is also practical for shorter trips because students can explore several major attractions over a weekend.

If your group enjoys lakes, palaces, and cultural experiences, a Udaipur college trip can be a memorable option. The city suits groups looking for a relaxed itinerary with sightseeing and local food.

A Jim Corbett college trip is ideal for students who want a nature-focused break, with forest surroundings, resort stays, and the possibility of a permitted wildlife safari. Remember that wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.

A Mussoorie college trip offers hill views, cafés, walking routes, and nearby attractions. It is a convenient option for groups looking for a relatively short mountain getaway.

A Dharamshala college trip can appeal to students interested in mountain scenery, Tibetan culture, monasteries, and exploring McLeod Ganj.

An Agra college trip is suitable for a short educational outing focused on the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Mughal history. It can be particularly useful for college societies organising cultural or heritage tours.

An Amritsar college trip combines history, Punjabi food, and a visit to the Golden Temple. Students can also learn about the region's history at important nearby attractions.

A Jaisalmer college trip offers a different experience with golden sandstone architecture, desert landscapes, and organised desert excursions. It is better suited to groups with enough travel time.

A Nainital college trip is a good choice for lakeside scenery, viewpoints, boating where available, and a relaxed hill-station atmosphere.

A Dehradun college trip works well for groups interested in local attractions, nearby nature spots, and using the city as a base for exploring surrounding destinations.

A Pushkar college trip offers temples, a lake, markets, and a distinctive cultural atmosphere. Check local event dates before travelling because crowd levels and accommodation prices can change significantly.

Before collecting money, prepare a shared estimate covering transport, accommodation, meals, local transfers, activities, and emergency expenses. Confirm the group size early because arrangements for 20 students can differ considerably from those for 50 or 100.

If your college committee prefers organised arrangements, Minto Holidays is one option to explore when comparing group travel plans. Check the itinerary, accommodation, inclusions, payment schedule, and cancellation terms before committing.

The best college trip is not necessarily the one with the most expensive activities. It is the one that matches the group's interests, feels manageable financially, and gives everyone time to enjoy the experience.

Which destination would you choose for your college trip, and what budget per student do you think is reasonable for a two- or three-day getaway?
