Managing website permissions and access is important to maintain the security of your website and ensure that only authorized individuals can access specific website files or directories. Here's how you can manage website permissions and access using Directadmin web control panel:

Log in to your Directadmin Control Panel and navigate to the "File Manager" section.

From here, you can manage file permissions by selecting the files or directories for which you wish to adjust the permissions and selecting the "Permissions" option within your file manager.

Adjust the permissions as per your need using the checkboxes to enable or disable certain permissions.

Assign specific users FTP or Shell access to your website's files and directories by using Directadmin's FTP or Shell User Management sections.

Create cPanel accounts and manage user access in cPanel through Directadmin's Admin Level interface. You can create new cPanel accounts, adjust their permissions, and modify their passwords.

You can also control access to specific web applications, such as CMSes like WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal. Directadmin interfaces like Installatron or Softaculous provide the option to change the permissions of web applications and users can also be created or modified to promote better access management.

By carefully managing website permissions and access using Directadmin web control panel, you can ensure that only authorized users can access specific files, directories and applications, ensuring the security and integrity of your website and its data.
